Every Word Counts · A free tracker for writing groups

An Excel spreadsheet for writing groups running monthly word-count challenges. Tracks daily typed and handwritten words for up to 20 participants with a live leaderboard that updates as participants log their words.

Built for my own writing group’s challenge and shared here in case it’s useful for yours.

What’s inside:

• Built-in scoring (handwritten counts double)

• Customizable for any month

• No Excel skills required

One tab per writer. The running total climbs as you log; the empty days are still part of the month. The point is to keep going, not to keep perfect records.
